It's More Than Just Edge to Edge
Class # 401 - Friday, Aug. 6th, 9-11
Instructor: Kim Brunner
Class Type - Lecture
Skill Level - Beginner
Too often people say “Oh, that’s ‘just’ an edge to edge design.” In this class, beginning longarm and midarm quilters will learn that edge to edge work is so much more than just scribbling over a quilt. When an edge to edge design is carefully chosen and precisely executed, it can turn an everyday quilt into an heirloom. Kim Brunner will teach a number of freehand allover designs, how to set up a pantograph, how to set up separate borders and their various corner options, how to dead end a border design, and how to use edge to edge as a way to increase profits for quilting customers. Edge to edge design work teaches quilters how to become a good machine quilter. After taking this class, you’ll never think of it as ‘just’ edge to edge!
Materials: Please bring a notebook, pencil, colored pencils, and questions. Cameras are always welcome in Kim’s classes.
