Backfill can make or break a quilt. Judy will show you many different kinds of background fillers that will enhance a quilt. She likes to mix up her backfill to give interest to the quilt. You’ll learn how to distribute heavy backfill so your quilt lays flat. She’ll even discuss blocking, batting and a little on traditional background fillers, as well. If the class isn’t too full you may even be asked to gather around the machine and get a close up view of the quilting.
