Class Type - Hands-on Sewing with Domestic Machine
Skill Level - Confident Beginner

An introductory course for quilters wanting to explore machine sewing with feed dogs down.  Explore free-motion embroidery techniques and use of decorative threads on scraps and make a small sampler.!

Please bring your own:

• Pencil
• paper cutting scissors
• fabric scissors
• muslin or solid color fabric [(1) 12 inch square for practice
• (1) 12x15 inch for background of small leaf wall hanging
• 3 inch wide strips for border around above background
• scraps of prints and solids to contract background for appliquéd leaves
• paper-backed fusible webbing [1 yard]
• Tear Away stabilizer [1/2 yard]
• machine embroidery hoop [7-9 inch, round]
• leaf [to use as a pattern]
